What is the price range of your gowns?
Our gowns range from $3,000 to $12,000 CAD. Our couture designers use the finest fabrics and craftsmanship to create the dress of your dreams.
What happens once my dress arrives?
Once your dress arrives, we conduct a thorough quality control inspection to ensure everything meets our standards. Then we will call you to share the exciting news! You’ll then have the opportunity to come in and try on your dress. If you choose to handle alterations elsewhere , this is when you’d go home with your gown. If you choose to do your alterations with us, we’ll store you dress safely until and between your fitting appointments. After your alterations are complete we’ll steam, pack and prepare your gown for pick up. You can collect your dress right before your wedding day or prior to your departure day if you are destination bride.
What sample sizes do you carry?
We made a conscious decision to provide a selection that is as inclusive as possible. Our sample gowns range from European bridal sizes 40 – 46 (8 – 12 US). If the sample is not the perfect fit, our consultants are experienced in professional fitting techniques to help you envision the gown in your size.
Does Toujours Bridal rent wedding dresses?
Unfortunately, we do not rent out wedding dresses. All our samples are made-to-order and are used as a guide to determine sizing. To get the perfect fit, further alterations are generally required.
Do I need to book an appointment?
To ensure that you are provided with the best experience possible, we require you to book an appointment in advance. This allows us to ensure dedicated time and personalized attention during your visit If you happen to be in the area and would like to visit us, please call ahead to confirm a consultant is available to assist you. Additionally, a consultant must accompany you throughout your appointment, even if you are only browsing.
What is the duration of my appointment?
Bridal appointments are generally 90 minutes in length, unless requested otherwise. Accessory and veil appointments are 60 minutes in length. If you are running late, please let us know as soon as you know. We will do our best to accommodate you but must keep our commitments to our other brides – we would not want to rush your experience or that of any bride.
What should I bring to my appointment?
You only have to bring yourself and any guest if you wish. We have 5 inch podiums so heels are not necessary to see the gown in its appropriate length. However for our sheer gowns, nude undergarments are recommended
How many guests can I bring to my appointment?
Our exclusive private bridal suites can accommodate 4-6 guests comfortably. If you are expecting to arrive with a larger group than this, please let us know beforehand and we will do our best to ensure you and your group are as comfortable as possible.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We totally understand that things come up! Since appointment availability is limited, we ask that you give us at least a 24 hours cancellation notice so that we can offer your appointment time to brides that are on the waitlist.
How long does it take to receive my gown?
Most of our gowns are made-to-order with a standard delivery time of four to six months. Depending on the designer, rush orders may be accommodated at an additional fee. We can discuss this during your initial visit.
What is your return policy?
As our gowns are made-to-order, all sales are final. We will not be able to accept any exchanges or refunds once you have purchased your dress and/or accessories.
Do you offer in-house alterations?
Absolutely, we are proud to have an elite team of in-house seamstresses that specialize in couture bridal alterations. Please note that dress alterations are a separate cost which is determined by the seamstress in correlation to the amount of work required. While we are happy to provide this service to our brides, it is not an obligation to do your alterations with us. If you choose to work with us, a consultant will be with you every step of the way, helping you with any customizations and guiding you through the creative process to bring your vision to life. After alterations are complete, we will steam, pack and carefully prepare your gown for pickup, so it’s in pristine wrinkle free condition for your big day!
What if I find a gown online from on of your designers that is not available in store?
As an exclusive partner to our designers we are honored to have access to all collections! We can order any dress for you upon purchase even if we do not carry it as a sample. During your appointment your consultant will show you
What is a “Sample Sale” gown??
A sample gown is a gown that is sold directly from our store floor. Typically these are gowns that have been discontinued by the designer, so we are unable to order new ones. Sample Sale gowns are gowns that you can purchase directly from the store and go home with the same day. These gowns are discounted based on cleanliness, condition and the amount of time they have been in store.
Are food and drinks allowed?
While we want you to feel comfortable during your appointment, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing food or drinks into the store. We do however, provide light refreshments for you and your guests. This helps protect our dresses and maintains a clean pleasant environment for all our brides.
Where is the boutique located?
We are located in a shopping centre on Disera Drive across the street from Promenade Mall. If you are driving on Disera Drive, you must drive into the shopping centre. The entrance of our boutique is facing the Walmart department store. There is complimentary parking in front of our boutique.
